Ravleen Sandhu Leads Women and Youth Empowerment Meeting in Harshe Chhina
A community meeting focused on empowering women and youth was held yesterday in Village Harshe Chhina Ucha Quila, Amritsar, organized by the local Panchayat. The event drew a strong turnout of village women, with Ms. Ravleen Sandhu, In-Charge of the Women Wing of Raja Sansi Constituency, serving as the chief guest.
Ms. Sandhu outlined an inspiring vision for empowerment, drawing motivation from Ms. Sonia Maan, In-Charge of Raja Sansi Constituency (Aam Aadmi Party). She passionately emphasized the importance of providing women with invaluable access to health, sanitation, skill development, and entrepreneurial opportunities to drive local development. “Every woman has the potential to create a brighter future for herself and her community,” Sandhu said.
Mr. Prabhjeet Singh Chhina, Head of Nimrata Foundation Amritsar, highlighted the importance of financial aid and skill-building programs to uplift women. The meeting also featured discussions on community-driven initiatives to enhance local infrastructure and opportunities for youth.
Key attendees included Sarpanch Hardev Singh Kukku, Panchayat members Manpreet Kaur, Kawaljeet Kaur, Saab Singh, Rani, Rajesh Kumar, Baljinder Singh, and Sharnjit Kaur. The Panchayat plans follow-up sessions to implement the discussed initiatives.
